John Harrington (photographer)

John Harrington (born December 27, 1966) is an American photographer and author. Harrington wrote the manual ''Best Business Practices for Photographers,'' and provided the photography for three books by the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of the American Indian: ''Meet Naiche'', ''Meet Mindy'', and ''Meet Lydia''.
Harrington graduated from Encinal High School in Alameda, California in 1985, and continued his studies at The Catholic University of America in Washington DC, graduating in 1990 with a B.A. in Political Science.〔(【引用サイトリンク】 Resume )

Harrington began his photography as the photo editor of the college newspaper ''The Tower'', and following graduation took a job as the Chief Photographer for The World & I magazine. After three years as a photojournalist, he left to continue his freelance career which would take him to Eastern Europe, Cuba, Alaska, Japan, and the White House.
